AI agents are genuinely great at turning fuzzy business ideas into clear requirements. Business speaks business. Engineers speak engineer. AI speaks both.
Then it gets creepy.
Ask for a feature and the agent offers, “You probably also need X.” Then Y. Then, “Most mature platforms also support Z.”
To the business, that looks like thinking ahead. To engineering, it looks like the opening scene of a horror movie.
AI coding agents make code faster. They don’t make scope free.
